Getting to know us
Pure Critical (ex Simple Play Games) is a creative team whose sole purpose is to spread the germ known as role-playing games. It was created on April 2017 and has both players and game masters in its creative think tank. The team's creations are based on simple sets of rules, which are very simple to understand for anyone from the age of six and older.
What we do
Pure Critical (ex Simple Play Games) has started an institution for the city of Thessaloniki, by organizing events focused on different thematic scenarios for pen & paper role-playing games. On our six years of existence we have taken part on various Comic-Cons (3 – 7) and the 21st Comic N Play convention in Thessaloniki with different settings for our players to choose from (Heroic Fantasy, Victorian Horror, Science Fiction, Post-Apocalypse and World War II). We have also managed to organize two separate events, one based on a science fiction script, and one based on Victorian horror.
So, come and meet us in Comic Con 8 in Thessaloniki during May 17-19 2024 at the Ioannis Vellidis Conference Centre, in order to catch a break from your daily routine and habits. We will help you to escape in worlds of heroism, horror and fantasy.
Pure Critical Schedule
Our schedule regarding Comic Con 8 will include role playing game sessions at three tables for the whole duration of the convention.
Every day, our Game Masters will be able to play with at least six teams of 5 players each. The timetable of the sessions will range from 10:30 to 15:30 and from 15:30 to 20:30, thus they will be four to five hours long (according to each thematic scenario).
Players will have the chance to register for their preferable adventure, from the event that will be created at the Pure Critical Facebook page (@purecritical)
