Manolis Frangidis was born in Thessaloniki in 1980. In 1998 he studies medicine in Siena, Italy, and in 2007 he graduates with honors from Fine Arts Department of Aristotle University of Thessaloniki. In 2010 he obtains the postgraduate title "Information and Communication Technologies of Sound and Image for Education and Production" in the School of Electrical and Computer Engineering of Aristotle University of Thessaloniki. In 2014 he completes his postgraduate studies in Special Needs Education and is a PhD candidate at the Pedagogical School of Aristotle University of Thessaloniki.
His comic albums “Comix Noir” and “Comix Noir II: The Devil You Know” are released by the KΨM publications, his art book “Nightlancer Art Book” is published by Adversity Games, while his short stories are hosted on the “Opposite Hemisphere” anthologies by Gamecraft publications and “Haunted: Greek Short Ghost Stories Anthology” & “Fantasy Literature Larry Niven Awards 2020” by Universe Paths publications.
He has illustrated several board games released on the global market such as “27th Passenger: A Hunt on Rails” and “Intrigue City” (Purple Games), ), ”Nightlancer” (Adversity Games), “Barrage Battle” (MK Games), "Dungeon Alliance" (Quixotic Games), “Heroes of Tenefyr” & “Heroes of Tenefyr: The Second Curse” (Broken Mill), “Posse: Wild West Justice” (SPHansen Games), and the card game series ”Duel Bots” (Game Crafter).
He has also organized and participated in art exhibitions, comic conventions, theatrical and film productions and publications in Greece and abroad. He also works as an art teacher in Greek Secondary Education since 2010.
