Biography
Bangeas Thanos was born in 1992, grew up in Katerini and is a graduate of the Medical School of the University of Thessaly. His first appearance in the comic scene was in Athens Comicdom-con in 2015 where he participated with his first sketchbook, ‘Rated F’. In 2016 he took part in the competition “HEROES – Super-, Anti-, Fantastic or Daily” of the Ornerakis Center of Applied Arts, where his story ‘Amore Espresso’ won second place and was published in the anthology ‘HEREOS’ by JEMMA PRESS. Since then, he has participated at the 1st Festival of Applied Arts at the Ornerakis Center of Applied Arts, at RUN Thessaloniki IV: AnimeCon, at Athens Comicdom-con 2017 and The Comic Con 3 and also at the comic exhibitions “Εν Αιθρία 8” and “Astronauts” of Comic N ‘ Play. His self-publishing works include the sketchbooks ‘Rated F’ and ‘Myscratchesonpaper-the sketchbook vol1’ as well as the comics ‘Ishi no Majo’ and ‘The Girl who ate a Star’, and several stories in the anthology ‘Ιστορίες από την Στάνη’ of the team “Feta Comics”.
