STEVE

Biography

Share with:

Steve graduated from Ornerakis School of Applied Arts in 2012. Since then, he’s been working on comics, illustration, writing, and tattooing. In 2021, he wrote the comic Spazorahoula (illustrated by Elena Gogou), which was published by Jemma Press, and won the award for Best Script at the Greek Comic Awards. Until then, he was mostly known for his self-published work, especially the comics Esmé and Jellinkfish. He has written and/or illustrated several other comics, children’s books, and tabletop role-playing games, and he’s known for his neo-traditional-tattoo-style illustrations, the queer fantasy themes of his work, and the outrageous amounts of stickers he produces. He’s happiest when he takes his work from convention to convention in Greece and Europe, which he has been doing as much as he can since 2013. He’s currently focused on writing as well as furthering his studies, and is working on several new projects at the same time as desperately attempting to keep his poor houseplants alive.
